I mean, who really enjoys being surrounded by stunning natural beauty and having tons of fun activities to do? Not me, obviously.

Enjoyed having a balcony and a couch in the room 🛋️. the staff were pretty friendly, creating a nice family atmosphere.

Spacious cabins with well-equipped kitchens and comfy beds. One night, while cozy in my cabin, I heard the enchanting sounds of native wildlife outside. It was like attending a private nature concert in my own little paradise.

Limited communal kitchen hours.

The location of the holiday park was perfect, close to rivers, Trounson Kauri Park, and the Main Highway. I loved how the river was just a stone's throw away from the holiday park. - Everything was great, this will be my top choice in Kaihu again.

We stayed at Kauri Coast Top 10 for a night while passing through on our biking holiday from Cape Reinga to Auckland. The park had a lovely vibe and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful park grounds, which had attractions like glow-worms, a river, a water hole/swimming pool, and a playground. The location was also convenient for visiting the nearby kauri forests. The hospitality of Chris, the owner, was outstanding. Thank you, Chris, for a fantastic stay!

The holiday park served as a fantastic place to explore the tranquil surroundings, including a nearby stream, river, kauri forest, and wooded valley. the room was beautifully modern and impeccably clean, equipped with a great kitchen and a comfy couch.

The cabin had a balcony with good views and a microwave and toaster. Close to BBQ area and beautiful river for swimming. Grounds had trampolines, zip wire, and a trail with interesting stops. Communal kitchen was huge and well-equipped. great stay.

I had a great time exploring the beautiful park with its riverside location. The communal facilities were fantastic and I even learned about native wildlife. The only downside was that the blink-and-you'll-miss-it WiFi made me feel like I was in the Stone Age.

The location was great, and the scenery was amazing. The facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The river nearby was perfect for a quiet walk, but unfortunately, there were not many activities to keep us busy. The bathroom was clean, and the water pressure in the shower was good.

The tent we rented was not located in a good spot as it was too close to the noisy highway, it was almost impossible to get a good night's sleep. The air mattress provided was not very comfortable, and the sleeping bags felt damp.

our stay at kaihu was amazing - the bush setting was so peaceful and we loved admiring the wildlife from our spotless motel room with a full kitchen. the balcony seating area gave us stunning views, and the activities on the grounds like trampolines and zip wire added to the fun. it was a perfect date night.

wifi was lacking

Exceptional location, comfortable facilities, playground, and peaceful atmosphere. The night walk was terrific!
